Mitja Petkovšek Possibly Out for the Season

Last week, the Slovenian Gymnastics Association reported that parallel bar specialist Mitja Petkovšek and occasional beam finalist Adela Šajn were named Slovenia's Gymnasts of the Year 2008.

According to the print edition of Delo, Mitja Petkovšek is still suffering from a finger injury he has had for a while now; it is not sure whether he will compete this season. High bar specialist Aljaž Pegan, on the other hand, is said to have recovered from his back injury and is training for the new season.
